Director Aditya Dhar's distinct vision for his movie Dhurandhr is the main reason why the Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna starrer is currently one of the all-time hits. The spy thriller had a net domestic collection of Rs 555 crore and a global gross of more than Rs 800 crore in just 17 days at the box office. As Dhurandhar continues to make waves, did you know that a well-known actor was considered for the song Shararat? The director rejected her and instead picked Krystle D'Souza and Ayesha Khan. Who was she?

Shararat song choreographer Vijay Ganguly expressed his desire to cast Tamannaah Bhatia in the song in an interview with Filmygyan. Director Aditya Dhar, however, turned down the offer. "In my head, she was (the one). I had suggested her, but Aditya was very clear that he did not want what people call an item song, something that went out of the story. If it were just about one girl, it would have taken attention away from the story."

Shararat song choreographer disclosed that the song featured two girls because it wasn't intended to be about just one person. The choreographer noted that since there is a lot going on in the movie, the song was only intended to be a song and not divert attention. If it had been Tamannaah, the song would have become solely about her rather than the plot.

"That's why there are two girls, not one. He didn't want the attention to be about this one person. If it were Tamannaah, it would've been about her and not the story."Jo ho raha tha film mein, there was a lot going on, and if you go away from the story, then the song is just a cut-to song," he shared.
