Tanushree Dutta claimed that she has been getting offers for the most recent season of Bigg Boss. She recently said that the producers have contacted her for the 19th season of Bigg Boss and that she has been getting requests to join for the previous 11 years. The actor has apparently declined the invitation, as she does each year. Fans of the Salman Khan-hosted reality program are cheering for their favorite competitors as it enters its 19th season. In a recent interview, Tanushexplained why she turned down the offers.
Tanushree Dutta clarifies that she has no plans to ever compete on Bigg Boss. The actor shocked everyone when she revealed in an interview with Bollywood Thikana that she received a sizable offer of Rs 1.65 crore. She did, however, say that the offer did not entice her and that she does not want to participate in the reality show since she thinks its structure to be 'invasive.'
Tanushree Dutta said, "Do you really think I would go to a show like that? I can’t stay in a place like that; I don’t even stay with my own family. I was never interested in Bigg Boss and will never be. They have offered me Rs 1.65 crore to be a part of the show. There’s another Bollywood celebrity at my same level who was paid the same amount. I’ve received a call from the Bigg Boss stylist too, who requested me, and said she will take care of my diet. I said even if they give me a piece of the moon, I wouldn’t go."

Tanushree Dutta revealed that the Bigg Boss team called and contacted her numerous times, and that the makers made numerous attempts to contact her. But for her, the answer has always been 'no.' The Dhol actor shared, "Men and women sleeping on the same bed and fighting in the same space—I just can’t do that. I am also very particular about my diet. How can they think I would sleep with a guy on the same bed for a reality show? I am not so cheap, no matter how many crores they offer."

In 2005, Tanushree Dutta made her Bollywood debut with Emraan Hashmi in Aashiq Banaya Aapne. She later starred in movies such as Risk, Bhagam Bhag, and 36 China Town. The 2013 television movie SuperCops vs. Super Villains was her final appearance. She was crowned Femina Miss India Universe in 2004 before to her Bollywood debut.

Tanushree Dutta made headlines by reviving Nana Patekar's sexual harassment claims during the #MeToo movement in 2018. She first filed a complaint against him with the Cine & TV Artists Association (CINTAA) in 2008, but since it was a criminal complaint, no action was taken.
