Tere Ishk Mein New Song OUT: The makers of Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, have released a brand new emotional song titled Usey Kehna on November 3, 2025. After the film’s title track received a strong response, this new song gives audiences a deeper and more dramatic look into the film’s storyline. Directed by Aanand L. Rai, the upcoming romantic musical will hit cinemas in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 28th November 2025. In Tere Ishk Mein, Dhanush plays Shankar, a man deeply in love, while Kriti Sanon plays Mukti, whose feelings are more complicated and fragile. The song’s music video opens with Shankar asking Mukti whether she ever truly loved him, and from that point, viewers are taken into the darker side of their troubled relationship.

The visuals in Usey Kehna highlight the emotional chaos the characters face from heartbreak and arguments to moments showing the mental burden of toxic love. There are brief shots where the lead pair share lighthearted smiles and happier times, but the overall tone focuses strongly on obsession and inner pain. The video even shows Dhanush’s character struggling with anger, smoking, and getting beaten by the police. In one of the most intense scenes, he begs Mukti to shoot him, while later she tells another man that men like Shankar go far away when they see the girl with someone else. It reflects how difficult and destructive their love has become.

Meanwhile, the track is sung by Nitesh Aher and Jonita Gandhi, with touching lyrics by Irshad Kamil and music by the legendary A. R. Rahman. Sharing his inspiration behind the melody, Rahman said, "This next song, 'Usey Kehna', was inspired from when we travelled to Himachal and witnessed the reflection of the mountains in the Ganges. Everything around inspired the creation of the melody, inspiring our teams, Aanand L Rai, Irshad Kamil, Himanshu and it evolved into something which is just the bare minimum of just the piano, strings and a newfound voice of Nitesh. I hope people enjoy it and feel the same way we felt creating it." Producer Bhushan Kumar also praised the collaboration, saying the song perfectly represents the raw and vulnerable emotions at the core of the film.

On the other hand, actor Priyanshu Painyuli, who also stars in the movie, shared that it feels unreal to be part of a story that follows the legacy of Raanjhanaa.
