The Girlfriend vs Jatadhara Box Office Day 7: Rashmika Mandanna’s romantic drama The Girlfriend has finished its first week at the Indian box office on a noticeably steady note. The film, directed by Rahul Ravindran features Dheekshith Shetty, Anu Emmanuel, Rao Ramesh and Rohini in key roles. The Girlfriend dipped slightly on Monday but it managed to hold well throughout the weekdays. In comparison, Sonakshi Sinha and Sudheer Babu’s supernatural thriller Jatadhara continues to face challenges at the box office. The Telugu film’s slow beginning, coupled with competition from multiple releases including The Girlfriend, appears to have restricted its overall performance. While it has not crashed completely, Jatadhara’s current pace suggests it may struggle to cross bigger milestones in the coming days.

The Girlfriend Box Office Collection Day 7

Rashmika Mandanna’s The Girlfriend collected around Rs 1.10 crore on Day 7, taking its week-one total to approximately Rs 11.25 crore. Although the Telugu movie dipped slightly on Monday, it managed to hold well throughout the weekdays. As per Sacnilk, the film recorded 17.18% occupancy in the Telugu version on Thursday, with afternoon shows performing the strongest.

The film’s engaging narrative, centred around Bhooma (played by Rashmika), an MA student who develops a deep emotional bond with Vikram (Dheekshith Shetty), appears to be resonating with urban youth and young couples. Its heartfelt moments and grounded storytelling have played a major role in keeping viewers interested. Rashmika’s return to Telugu cinema has also been warmly received, adding additional buzz around the film. At a recent celebration event, Vijay Deverakonda joined Rashmika, where she thanked him for supporting the film from its early stages further boosting fan excitement.

Jatadhara Box Office Collection Day 7

Jatadhara which marked Sonakshi’s debut in Telugu cinema, collected Rs 0.40 crore on Day 7, taking its total to Rs 5.45 crore. Despite its modest collections, the film has gathered a loyal audience base in parts of South India. The emotional and power-packed climax especially Sudheer Babu’s Shiva Tandava performance has earned strong praise online.

Sonakshi Sinha plays Dhanpishachini, a fierce and vengeful spirit, delivering a powerful performance in her first Telugu role. Supporting actors Shilpa Shirodkar and Divya Khosla Kumar have also been praised for their impactful appearances.
