The Great Indian Kapil Show is making a grand return on the OTT giant Netflix with a third season. Along with the show, politician Navjot Singh Sidhu is also making a comeback to entertain the audience with his shers and shayaris. Sidhu has been an important part of Kapil Sharma’s show from the beginning before controversies led to his exit. He will now be seen sharing space with Archana Puran Singh as the second judge of the show. Amid all this, fans are getting excited to see the new cast of the show and are also eager to find who among both the judges are getting a higher paycheque from Netflix.

Navjot Singh Sidhu last appeared in Kapil’s show in 2020 and will now bring back his charm of ‘thoko taali.’ As per the reports in Siasat, he used to charge around Rs 20 lakhs per episode and earned approximately Rs 25 crore for 125 episodes. This time, Sidhu Paaji will be reportedly charging between Rs 30-40 lakhs per episode.

Reportedly, Archana Puran Singh’s fee is Rs 10 lakhs per episode. During an earlier interview, the veteran actress opened up on how she was being paid the least in the cast. "These people earn double the money, so they must do the hard work. I’m getting paid to laugh, and they’re getting paid for their hard work. Some get paid for their beauty, others for their talent, but I get paid for all of that," she said.

According to a report in Free Press Journal, Kapil Sharma, the star of the show, will be charging Rs 5 crore per episode. On the other hand, his artist friends like Sunil Grover earn Rs 25 lakhs and Krushna Abhishek makes around Rs 10 lakhs for each episode.

The announcement of Sidhu’s return was marked by sharing a promotional clip featuring Kapil, Archana, and Sidhu on social media by the official page of Netflix India. The video shows Kapil surprising Archana with Sidhu’s unexpected presence. Several behind-the-scene photos have surfaced on social media giving fans a glimpse into the guest list, which includes actor Salman Khan, cricket stars Yuzvendra Chahal, Rishabh Pant, Gautam Gambhir, and Abhishek Sharma.
