The RajaSaab: The makers of The RajaSaab, one of India’s biggest upcoming horror-fantasy films, marked Boman Irani’s birthday with a striking new poster that instantly caught the attention of fans. Celebrating the veteran actor’s special day, the team released a fresh look that highlights the mysterious and intellectual aura of his character. In the film, Boman Irani plays a psychiatrist, hypnotist, and paranormal investigator, a layered role that blends science with the supernatural. His character appears central to the plot, guiding the story into its darker, more psychological spaces. The trailer already showed him hypnotising Prabhas’ character, an intense moment that triggers one of the film’s first major twists.

Boman Irani’s birthday poster offers the clearest glimpse yet into Boman’s role. Dressed in muted, earthy tones and holding a cane, he appears calm yet commanding, a man who understands realms beyond human perception. The makers shared the poster along with a heartfelt note, “The one who stands between REALITY and the UNEXPLAINED… Team #TheRajaSaab wishes @boman_irani a very Happy Birthday.” Prabhas also shared the poster and wished the actor warmly, saying, “Many happy returns of the day Boman Irani sir… Wishing you a fantastic year ahead.”

The RajaSaab has already become one of the most anticipated films of 2026. Following the massive success of Kalki 2898 AD, fans are excited to see Prabhas in a completely different avatar. The film shows him in a mischievous, vintage-inspired look, a style that many say reminds them of his earlier charm-filled performances. He will be seen in a dual role, adding more depth and excitement to the storyline. The film boasts a strong ensemble cast including Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani. Nayanthara will also appear in a special song. Before finalising the lead cast, several actresses including Raashii Khanna and Sreeleela were reportedly considered.

The film is produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment, with music by Thaman S. The RajaSaab will hit cinemas worldwide on January 9, 2026 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
