Kamal Haasan's much-awaited Tamil movie Thug Life is all set for its release. The movie has been in controversy post Haasan's remark during a promotional event of the movie in Karnataka where he said that the Kannada language had emerged from the Tamil language. As the actor refused to apologise, the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) banned the movie in Karnataka. However, Thug Life is still releasing in other states. Thug Life Plot
In a world ruled by crime and betrayal, mafia kingpin Sakthivel and his brother Manickam rescue a young boy, Amaran, during a violent police shootout and raise him as their own. Years later, when an assassination attempt shakes Sakthivel's empire, suspicion turns inward. Consumed by vengeance, Sakthivel sets out to destroy the very family he once built.
