TV actors Lataa Saberwal and Sanjeev Seth have separated after 16 years of marriage. The duo worked together in the popular TV serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. On Saturday, Lataa took to her social media space and announced the shocking news with an emotional post.
Lataa wrote on Instagram, "After a prolonged silence... I declare that I (Lataa Saberwal) have been separated from my husband (Mr. Sanjeev Seth). I give gratitude to him for giving me a lovely son. I wish him all the best for his future life. I request everyone to please respect my and my family's peace and not to ask any questions or call regarding this. GRATITUDE."
Lataa wrote in the caption, "Please respect my and my family’s peace. Thank you, gratitude."

Lataa Saberwal and Sanjeev Seth are known for their roles as Akshara's parents in the hit TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. They have now ended their 16-year marriage. The couple also participated in Nach Baliye Season 6 in 2013.
Lataa has had a prolific TV career, with notable roles in shows like Arzoo Hai Tu, Jannat and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. She also appeared in films like Vivah and Ishq Vishq. In 2021, Lataa announced her decision to quit television. Sanjeev was previously married to Resham Tipnis, with whom he parted ways in 2004.
