After his last appearance in Yodha, Sidharth Malhotra has exciting projects lined up including Param Sundari opposite Janhvi Kapoor and Vvan: Force of the Forest, co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia. He has officially started shooting for his upcoming folk thriller, a gripping story set against the backdrop of an ancient forest with hidden temples and adventure. Sidharth took to his Instagram story and treated his fans with a glimpse of the sets of his new movie. The photo captures the film’s clapboard with details including the title Vvan, along with scene and shot information and the shoot date, June 9, 2025, marking the first day of filming. This has created excitement among those who are eagerly awaiting more updates about the actor's upcoming projects.
About Vvan Movie
This project marks the first on-screen pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia. The duo will bring the folk thriller with their performances on screen on May 15, 2026. The film is being helmed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar and the list of producers includes Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Arunabh Kumar. It's backed under Balaji Motion Pictures banner in collaboration with The Viral Fever.
Vvan: Force of the Forrest, is among the highly anticipated thrillers of the year, which will bring Indian mythology and mysticism by unfolding a tale straight from the pages of history and folklore. With a blend of mystical elements of ancient legends and the untouched beauty of forest landscapes and hidden adventures.
Besides this, Sidharth is also gearing up for the romantic comedy Param Sundari, directed by Tushar Jalota and bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films. He along with Janhvi Kapoor will bring the cross-cultural love story that is set against the scenic backwaters of Kerala. The story takes us into the world of North and South India, with distinct cultures and backgrounds, filled with family drama, romance, and hilarious chaos.
