The Great Indian Kapil Show's final edition included Akshay Kumar as a guest with Kapil Sharma. The actor also talked about Kapil Sharma's career during the talk, joking about the firing situations at Kap's Cafe in Canada. Akshay Kumar made the statement, "Itni aamdani hai ke wahan goliyan chali at the Netflix show's final episode. The show featured the typical humorous banter between Akshay Kumar and Kapil Sharma, as well as some banters.

Akshay Kumar took a dig at Kapil Sharma's firing incident when the comedia remarked, "Aap talented zyaada ho ke aapki zaruratein zyaada hain," referring to Akshay's more than 150 film credits. To this, the Jolly LLB actor's humorous comment about the comedian's Kap's Cafe fire took everyone by surprise.

Akshay Kumar said, "Teen season Netflix pe kar chuka hai yeh. Uss pehle Sony pe tha, usse pehle Colors pe. Abhi do filmein kar raha hai. Isne apna restaurant khol liya aur itni aamdani hai ke waha goliyan bhi chali." Akshay Kumar's jab caused the judges and audience to erupt in laughter. Following this, Akshay quipped, "Tu bata tu talanted zyaada hai yaa teri zaruratein zyaada hai." Kapil Sharma simply smiled and said nothing in response.

Kapil and his spouse, Ginni Chatrath, quietly opened their cafe, which they called Kap's Cafe, on July 4, 2025. Fans and residents of Canada's Surreal have been lining up in front of the visually appealing cafe since the first day. The number of people entering Kap's cafe grew with each day. Nevertheless, the comedian's coffeehouse in a foreign country was attacked around 1:50 am on July 10, 2025.

An audio clip of criminal Harry Boxer, who is associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was made public on social media following a second round of gunfire that targeted his café in Canada. In the menacing recording, Harry Boxer threatened to kill anyone who collaborated with Salman Khan. "The first and now second firing at Kapil Sharma’s restaurant happened because he had invited Salman Khan to the inauguration on a Netflix show," Henry said.

The Crime Branch quickly responded to these threats by questioning Kapil Sharma to find out if he had ever received extortion calls or threats from the group. In response, the comic said that he had not seen anything similar.
