The Indian version of the talked-about American show is set to unveil 20 contestants, of whom Lakshmi Manchu is one of the famous among them, who has a powerful background. Lakshmi began her career at a younger age and made a strong presence in the Telugu film industry. Lakshmi was born on October 8, 1977 to South superstar Mohan Babu and his wife Manchu Vidya Devi. She is the sister of Vishnu Manchu and Manchu Manoj. Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, fondly called as Lakshmi Manchu, has worked in several Telugu movies. She made her Telugu movie debut in Anaganaga O Dheerudu, which was released in 2011. Lakshmi has worked in several movies, including Monster, Lakshmi Bomb, Gundello Godari, Dongata, Kaatrin Mozhi, Budugu, Chandamama Kathalu and Adiparvam, to name a few. The actress made her Bollywood debut with Department, released in 2012. The film also starred Sanjay Dutt and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles.
