The Raja Saab Song Lauch: The song launch event of Prabhas’ upcoming film The Raja Saab took an unpleasant turn on Wednesday evening after actress Nidhhi Agerwal was mobbed by an unruly crowd at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad. Several videos from the event have since gone viral on social media, triggering widespread outrage and renewed concerns over celebrity safety and poor crowd management at public events. The makers of The Raja Saab hosted a grand launch of the song ‘Sahana Sahana’, which saw the presence of key members from the film’s team, including director Maruthi, actors Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan, music composer Thaman S, and producers Vishwa Prasad and SKN.

While the event itself went smoothly, things quickly spiralled out of control once it concluded. As Nidhhi Agerwal attempted to leave the venue, a large crowd gathered around her, breaching security and rushing towards her car. Videos show the actress visibly distressed as she struggled to move through the crowd, with security personnel attempting to shield her and clear a path. In one of the viral clips, Nidhhi can be seen clutching her dupatta tightly and expressing clear frustration and anger once she finally managed to get inside her vehicle.

Meanwhile, the incident has drawn sharp criticism from netizens, many of whom questioned the lack of adequate security arrangements. Social media users described the crowd’s behaviour as reckless and dangerous, with several calling for stricter measures at celebrity events. Comments such as “Shame on you all,” “This is terrifying,” and “Where was the security?” flooded social media platforms, as fans expressed concern for the actress’s safety.

Chinmayi Sripada Reacts To Nidhhi Agerwal’s Viral Videos 

On the other hand, playback singer Chinmayi Sripada was one of the first prominent voices from the industry to react strongly to the incident. Sharing the viral video on X (formerly Twitter), Chinmayi condemned the behaviour of the crowd in a scathing post. She wrote, “Pack of men behaving worse than hyenas. Actually why insult hyenas. Put ‘likeminded’ men together in a mob, they will harass a woman like this. Why doesnt some God take them all away and put them in a different planet?”

Despite the widespread attention and concern, Nidhhi Agerwal has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident. Fans continue to wait for her response while urging event organisers to take responsibility. On the other hand, The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, remains one of the most anticipated Telugu films.
