Alia Bhatt’s recent appearance at the Red Sea International Film Festival has created a major buzz online. While the actress spoke openly about her career, motherhood, and personal growth, one particular moment stole everyone’s attention was her calm and graceful response to a Pakistani fan who asked if she would ever visit Pakistan. The clip has since gone viral, winning praise from audiences across borders.
During an interaction at the festival, a Pakistani fan asked Alia Bhatt a heartfelt question: Would she ever visit Pakistan? Instead of giving a direct yes or no, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress responded with poise, saying she would go wherever her work takes her. As Asianet Newsable reported, “Being an Indian, Alia Bhatt avoided the question and just stated that she will go wherever work takes her. This is not a clear yes or a clear no. But fans liked the way she answered with grace and did not make it sound rude.” Fans on social media have widely shared the moment, appreciating how she managed the question respectfully without stirring controversy.

Meanwhile, at the festival, Alia Bhatt also opened up about how her approach to work and life has matured since her early twenties. She explained that she was more chaotic and eager in her younger years, but now approaches things with greater calm and intention. She shared, “I’m still enthusiastic and full of beans, but the approach is more silent.” Looking back, the Alpha actress added, “When I was young…I’m still young, but when I was in my 20s, I was all over the place, trying to do everything. At 17, 18, I was way more enthusiastic and full of beans, and trying very hard, because that’s normal.”
Additionally, Alia Bhatt explained that growth, success, and failure shape one’s mindset, “And now, more than a decade later, the way you look at a situation changes. I’m still enthusiastic and full of beans, but the approach is more silent, it comes with a little more intent.” She also reflected on wanting to keep her younger, fearless self alive, “Part of me wants to hold on to the girl at 18 who was brave and fearless… sometimes you tend to become a little more tentative.”

Furthermore, the actress also spoke about attending global events like Cannes and the Met Gala, revealing that despite the glamour, the chaos ends with her relaxing in pyjamas and eating pizza. She discussed motherhood and how travel feels different now that her daughter Raha is older. Alia shared, “Now Raha has her own relationship with the paparazzi, and is old enough to ask me where I am going, and when I will be back.” When asked about nepotism, she gave a straightforward response, saying that audiences care about talent, “When the audience saw someone ‘bringing something to the table, sab kuch maaf hai.’”
