Akshay Kumar-starrer 'OMG 2' has been hitting the headlines due to its discussion over the certification by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). It was earlier reported that the movie will focus on sex* education and the Revising Committee (RC) of CBFC has suggested 20 cuts and an adults-only certification. According to the latest reports, the makers of 'OMG 2' are planning to change its release date.

'OMG 2' is scheduled to release on August 11, 2023, and will clash with 'Gadar 2' at the box office. According to ETimes, the makers of 'OMG 2' are neither happy with the cuts, nor with the A certificate and are thinking about shifting the release date.

The report further claims that the makers believe A certificate will affect the essence of the film, and the topic of sex* education should be seen by people of all ages. "The makers are of the opinion of shifting the release date from August 11 as they want to fight against the changes suggested by the committee and also line up proper promotion of the film," a source was quoted as saying.

It revolved around Kanji Lalji Mehta, who is an atheist but owns a shop of Hindu idols and antiques.
