OMG 2 Release Date: Akshay is one of the busiest actors in the film industry with his back-to-back releases. He is now back with the second instalment of 'Oh My God- OMG' and the makers have finally announced its release date after much await. Apart from Akshay Kumar, 'OMG 2 also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam.

OMG 2 Release Date:

'OMG 2' will release in theatres on August 11, 2023. The movie will clash with Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' and Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' at the box office.

Sharing the release date, Akshay Kumar wrote on Twitter, "Aa rahe hai hum, aaiyega aap bhi. 11th August. In theatres. #OMG2."

The first instalment was directed by Amit Rai and starred Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the lead role. It revolved around Kanji Lalji Mehta, who is an atheist but owns a shop of Hindu idols and antiques. After his shop gets destroyed due to an earthquake, he sues god as he is not able to get insurance.

Earlier, it was reported that 'OMG 2' will be releae on OTT instead of theatre due to Akshay Kumar's back-to-back box office failure.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be seen in 'Jolly LLB 3' along with Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla. Arshad confirmed that the movie will go on the floor in 2024.

“Subhash Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi have been toying with the idea of Jolly LLB 3 for a while now and things have fallen into place. Subhash has cracked a subject that warrants a face-off between the two Jolly’s. It’s hilarious with a very relevant topic for debate in the court of law,” a source was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.

Meanwhile, Akshay will also star in the Hindi remake of 'Soorarai Potturu' along with Radhika Madan. He will be seen in 'Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan' along with Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chhillar and Sonakshi Sinha.
