OTT Movies And Web Series Releasing This Week (Aug 5 To 11): Streaming companies have transformed the experience of watching movies and shows for the viewers as almost every content is easily accessible. OTT platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, Dinsey+ Hotstar, JioCinema and others have made it easy for the audience to watch content from the comfort of their homes on phones, TVs or laptop screens.

1. Are You Sure?

'Are You Sure?' is a travel series in which Jungkook and Jimin will explore different regions around the world. They will visit New York in the United States, Jeju Island in South Korea, and Sapporo in Japan. It will release on Disney+ Hotstar on August 8.

2. The Umbrella Academy Season 4

'The Umbrella Academy' revolves around adopted siblings with superpowers, who reunite to find the truth behind their father's death. It stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castaneda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan and Aidan Gallagher. Its fourth and final season will release on Netflix on August 8, 2024.

3. Ghudchadi

'Ghudchadi' revolves around the love story of two couples from two different generations. The movie stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in the lead roles with Parth Samthaan, Khushalii Kumar and Aruna Irani in pivotal roles. The movie will release on JioCinema on August 9.

4. Gyaarah Gyaarah

'Gyaarah Gyaarah' will focus on two police officers, who get connected through a walkie-talkie but they are in different timelines and try to solve a murder case. The series stars Raghav Juyal, Kritika Kamra and Dhairya Karwa in the lead roles. 'Gyaarah Gyaarah' will release on Zee5 on August 9.

5. Indian 2

'Indian 2' revolves around Senapathy, who returns to the country to deal with the corruption in the country. It is the sequel to the hit 1996 movie 'Indian'. Directed by S Shankar, the movie stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role. Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek, and Kajal Aggarwal were seen in pivotal roles. The movie will release on Netflix on August 9 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

6. Life Hill Gayi

'Life Hill Gayi' revolves around two siblings who compete with each other for inheritance by reviving an old hotel. The series stars Kusha Kapila and Divyenndu Sharma in the lead roles. It will release on Disney+ Hotstar on August 9.

7. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba

'Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba' is the sequel to 'Hasseen Dillruba' and revolves around Rani and Rishu, who elope in Agra. Things take a turn when Rani asks a mild-mannered admirer for help. The movie stars Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal in the lead roles. It will release on August 9 on Netflix.

8. Turbo

'Turbo' movie revolves around a Jeep driver, who is forced to relocate to Chennai after he gets into trouble. But surprises wait for him in the city as he meets Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram. The movie stars Mammootty with Raj B. Shetty, Sunil and Anjana Jayaprakash in the prominent roles. The movie will release on SonyLiv on August 9.

9. Django

Release Date: 9th August 2024
