Streaming movies and selecting web series on weekends can sound like an easy and interesting task. However, to go ahead and select an engaging watch is a tough journey. Narrowing and making your journey easy which everyone agrees to see coinciding with the time, here is a list of all the upcoming film releases and web series to be released on OTT. Therefore, huddle up with your family in the living room and tune onto one of your favorites amongst the list mentioned below.
Khufiya: Netflix
Scheduled to release on October 5, the film is based on true events and is adapted from the 2012 novel ‘Escape To Nowhere’ by Amar Bhushan. The film is helmed by Vishal Bharadwaj and features Tabu as a strong headed RAW agent who goes head to head with Ali Fazal aka Ravi Mohan, who is suspected to be a mole in the system.
The trailer revolves around revenge, love, betrayal, and loyalty, and is a promising nail-biting tale. The story is about how Ali Fazal’s character manages to escape, even after being under crucial surveillance.
Kaala Paani: Netflix
Featuring Mona Singh and Ashutosh Gowariker in the lead roles, the show is set in the dense forests of the Andaman & Nicobar islands. ‘Kaala Paani’’s trailer will tease you with an unknown presence, not to be revealed throughout the film and raises the curiosity bar. There are mysterious symbols and interesting dialogues which tell the tale of a mysterious illness spreading across the island. It is a show, showcasing the battle between humans and the wrath of nature on them. The show will stream from October 18.
Sultan Of Delhi: Disney+Hotstar
Milan Luthria is set to bring back his shine on OTT with ‘Sultan Of Delhi.’ The show is based on the book of the same name by Arnab Ray and will stream from October 13. Looking at the trailer of the show, ‘Sultan Of Delhi’ is set in the 1960, and is a gangster drama filled with steamy and spicy dialogues and scenes with glamour, ambition, and gunshots in the background. The show stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Mouni Roy, Anjum Sharma, Vinay Pathak, Nishant Dahiya, Anupriya Goenka, Harleen Sethi, and Mehreen Pirzadathe in pivotal roles.
Kushi: Netflix
‘Kushi’ stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda in the lead roles and hit theatres on September 1. The film was a box office success and will stream on Netflix on October 1. The film is a romantic-comedy love story of a couple who get married to each other despite their family’s being opposite of their love story, they struggle in keeping their marriage alive, until both understand the true meaning of love and selflessness.
Mumbai Diaries Season 2: Amazon Prime Video
‘Mumbai Diaries 2’ focuses on the tale of the healthcare frontline workers handling the aftermath of 26/11 attacks and also handling the situation of 2005 Mumbai floods. The series will start streaming from October 6 and stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanawanthary, and Riddhi Dogra in pivotal roles.
Star Vs Food Survival- discovery+
