Scam 1992 – The Harshad Mehta Story is a biographical financial thriller series streaming on SonyLIV, directed by Hansal Mehta and co-directed by Jai Mehta. Based on the 1992 Indian stock market scam involving Harshad Mehta and other stockbrokers, the series is adapted from Sucheta Dalal and Debashish Basu's book The Scam: Who Won, Who Lost, Who Got Away. The screenplay and dialogues were penned by Sumit Purohit, Saurabh Dey, Vaibhav Vishal and Karan Vyas.
Jamtara (Netflix)
Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega is an Indian crime drama series created and directed by Soumendra Padhi and written by Trishant Srivastava. The story explores the world of social engineering scams in Jamtara, Jharkhand. The series premiered on Netflix on January 10, 2020 and its second season was released on September 23, 2022.
Raid (JioHotstar)
Raid is a 2018 Indian crime thriller film directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, starring Ajay Devgn, Saurabh Shukla, and Ileana D'Cruz. The movie is inspired by a real-life income-tax raid in the 1980s on Sardar Inder Singh, which notably became the longest raid in Indian history.
Mumbai Diaries (Prime Video)
Mumbai Diaries is an Indian medical thriller series set in a government hospital's emergency room, highlighting the challenges faced by medical staff and first responders during crises. Created and directed by Nikkhil Advani and Nikhil Gonsalves, the series premiered on Amazon Prime Video on September 9, 2021. Notably, the show was filmed at real locations associated with the 2008 Mumbai attacks, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Gateway of India and Leopold Café.

Lucky Baskhar is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language black comedy crime film directed by Venky Atluri, starring Dulquer Salmaan. The story follows a lower-middle-class man who turns to financial scams to support his family, battling debt and humiliation.
