Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Kaithi is a 2019 action mystery thriller that follows Dilli, a recently released ex-convict who hopes to meet his daughter for the first time. His plans get interrupted when he is forced into an overnight drug bust operation.
4.Maanaadu (SonyLIV)
One of the Tamil cinema's time-loop thrillers. The film features Abdul Khaliq (Silambarasan) repeatedly reliving the same day to stop a political assassination, while also being hunted by a corrupt police officer, played by S.J. Suryah, who shares the loop. Maanaadu blends action, tension, and social commentary with themes of corruption and power.
5.Thadam (SunNXT)
A film based on a doppelganger concept. This Tamil suspense thriller movie is a gritty investigation where police encounter two identical lookalike suspects living different lives, involved in a murder case. The conflicting evidence complicated the investigation.
