August 2025 OTT Releases

Bigg Boss Season 19

Bigg Boss 19 is all set to entertain audiences from Sunday, August 24, 2025. The reality TV show will be avilable to watch on Colors TV and for the audience of OTT, it will be available to stream on JioHotstar. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be back as the host for Bigg Boss Season 19.

Sitaare Zameen Par

Directed by RS Prasanna, written by Divy Nidhi Sharma, Sitaare Zameen Par stars Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh and introduces ten new faces. The film will be available on YouTube in India at Rs. 100, and in 38 international markets, including USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, among others, with pricing localised for each market.

Wednesday Season 2

Wednesday Season 2 is scheduled to be released in two parts: August 6, 2025 and September 3, 2025. The new season promises to deliver more horror elements, expanded Addams Family dynamics and supernatural mysteries. Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday Addams and also serves as a producer for Season 2.

KBC 17

Amitabh Bachchan is set to make a grand comeback with the highly anticipated season 17 of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Sony has officially confirmed the news, generating excitement among fans of the show. Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17 will premiere on August 11, Mon–Fri at 9 PM on Sony Entertainment Television. For the OTT audience, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17 will stream on SonyLIV.

Maa

Maa is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language mythological horror film, starring Kajol in lead role. The movie ha been directed by Vishal Furia and is a spinoff to the 2024 film Shaitaan, being set in the same universe. Maa is expected to stream on Netflix from August 2025.

Pati, Patni aur Panga
