HIT 3 OTT Release CONFIRMED: HIT 3, titled HIT: The Third Case is the sequel to Sailesh's HIT: The First Case (2020), which featured Vishwak Sen, and HIT: The Second Case (2022), starred Adivi Sesh. The HIT franchise's third installment tells the tale of police officer SP Arjun Sarkar (Nani), who cracks a murder case. Srinidhi Shetty plays his lover Mrudula in this Telugu movie.

HIT 3 was a huge hit when it first came out and received a great reception at the box office. Despite competing with multiple other movies on the same day, the revenge police drama continued its winning streak at the ticket windows. 

When And Where To Watch HIT 3?

HIT 3 will stream digitally on Netflix, confirmed the OTT giant. The third case, led by Nani will begin streaming online on May 29th. The movie will stream Nani's most recent release in five languages -  Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. "He’s Arjun for the loved ones and Sarkaar for the criminals," read the caption on HIT 3 OTT announcement post.

HIT 3 Plot Details

The plot of HIT 3 centers on Arjun Sarkaar, a brutal police officer who takes KD's place in HIT Visakhapatnam. Beginning with Arjun imprisoned for a horrible crime, the movie takes an interesting turn.

The narrative cuts to a flashback as he tells his story to another prisoner, showing Arjun carrying out a string of horrific killings while documenting each one. In a dramatic turn of events, he is later tasked with looking into the crimes he committed.

Arjun's alleged wrongdoings were part of a complex master plan to infiltrate a dark web cult group and eventually destroy it from inside, as is made clear through a sequence of slow flashbacks and flashforwards. What follows is an exciting journey in which Arjun must constantly avoid exposure while navigating high-stakes scenarios, keeping his cover, and tracking down and eliminating the evil gang of criminals.

HIT 3 had a respectable opening at the box office despite primarily competing with Suriya's Retro. Nani led Telugu movie eventually outperformed Retro, though, particularly in the circuits of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The actioner was the first movie in the franchise to reach the milestone of earning over Rs 100 crore globally.
