Maamla Legal Hai Season 2 CONFIRMED: Netflix has officially announced that Maamla Legal Hai is filming its next season, and fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the new episodes. Created by Sameer Saxena, Maamla Legal Hai is written by Kunal Aneja, Shadan Syed, Tatsat Pandey, and Mohak Aneja. Directed by Rahul Pandey, Sameer Saxena is also the showrunner. The Netflix webseries is set at the fictional Patparganj District Court in Delhi. The series kicks off with Ravi Kishan portraying VD Tyagi, a cunning lawyer who is an expert at finding loopholes in the legal system to win cases.

Netflix has recently shared a photo of the cast on Instagram with the caption, "Order order! Tareekh milne wali hai.. laughter ki. Maamla Legal Hai Season 2 is coming soon, only on Netflix!" Besides several returning cast members like Ravi Kishan, Maamla Legal Hai will also feature some new faces, including Kusha Kapila and Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Yadav, aka Nirahua.

Meanwhile, the rest of the behind-the-scenes photos show the cast in character and costume, giving fans a glimpse into the new season. The pictures show Ravi Kishan, Naila Grewal, Nidhi Bisht, and Anant Joshi, who will be back to reprise their characters in the Netflix comedy. Anjum Batra's Mintu is also back to assist Ravi Kishan's VD Tyagi.

About Maamla Legal Hai Season 1 Plot

VD Tyagi, played by Ravi Kishan, aspires to become the Bar Association President and is the self-declared head of the Patparganj Bar Association. Joining him is Ananya Shroff, played by Naila Grewal, a passionate advocate from Harvard who dreams of providing legal aid to the underserved but encounters a harsh reality check in Patparganj. 

Nidhi Bisht plays Sujata, also known as Didi, who dreams of having her own legal chamber despite having yet to represent a single case. Anant V Joshi portrays Vishwas Pandey, the court manager who sees himself as the Donna Paulson of Patparganj District Court, drawing parallels to the savvy secretary from ‘Suits.’ With its talented cast and quirky characters, Maamla Legal Hai promises to deliver more laughs and excitement in its second season.
