Mahavatar Narsimha is inspired by a significant section of Indian mythology. It centers on the tale of Hiranyakashipu, a strong demon king who vowed to get revenge on Lord Vishnu's Varaha avatar for his brother Hiranyaksha's murder. The monarch chose to declare himself a god because he is avaricious for power. He soon starts posing a threat to the cosmos, and his son Prahlad still worships Vishnu. Prahlad continues to worship the Lord in spite of his father's numerous attempts to stop him. Hiranyakashipu's fear is ultimately put an end to by Lord Vishnu's ferocious Narsimha avatar, which also brings the universe back into harmony.
