Mayasabha OTT Release Date OUT: The much-awaited Telugu-language political web series Mayasabha is all set to make its digital debut. Starring Aadhi Pinisetty and Chaitanya Rao the show is said to be a period political drama. Fans can expect a gripping storyline rooted in power, rivalry, and leadership. Recently the OTT platform took to its social media to unveil the teaser of the web series, also annoucing its release date.

The official announcement was made through the platform’s social media accounts. Along with a teaser, the makers shared a powerful line that sets the tone for the series, “A Story of Two Great Friends, Turned into Political Rivals, that became Story of the State… Mayasabha Streaming on SonyLIV from 7th Aug.” The Telugu web series Mayasabha is scheduled to start streaming on SonyLIV on 7th August 2025.

Mayasabha Web Series Plot
The story of Mayasabha revolves around the intense political rivalry between two key characters — Kakarla Krishnama Naidu and MS Rami Reddy. Set in the 1990s, the series explores their journey from being close friends to becoming political adversaries, mirroring the shifting political dynamics in Andhra Pradesh at the time.’
The Telugu web series, according to a report in Times Now is believed to be inspired by real-life political figures like former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy and the current CM Chandrababu Naidu. The report also mentioned that actor Naga Chaitanya was initially rumoured to be a part of the series, although his involvement hasn't been confirmed.

Mayasabha Web Series Cast And Crew Details
The ensemble cast also includes Divya Dutta, Sai Kumar, Srikanth Iyengar, Nassar, Ravindra Vijay, Shatru, and Tanya Ravichandran in supporting roles. Each character is expected to play a vital role in bringing this politically charged narrative to life. The series is directed by Deva Katta, making his debut in the OTT space. He is best known for directing movies like Vennela, Prasthanam, and Autonagar Surya.
Aadhi Pinisetty’s Upcoming Projects
On the professional front, Aadhi Pinisetty was last seen in the horror thriller Sabdham, directed by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam. The Telugu movie received praise both critically and commercially. Looking ahead, Aadhi is set to appear as the main antagonist in Akhanda 2, the sequel to the hit Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer.
With a solid cast, an experienced director, and a gripping political storyline, Mayasabha is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about OTT releases of the year.
