OTT Releases This Week (July 7 To 13): The upcoming days are going to be as fantastic as the shows and movies that are set to arrive on digital platforms. One of them is the critically acclaimed Malayalam movie Narivetta, which is set to arrive this week. Another big release is a romantic comedy drama movie is Aap Jaisa Koi, which stars R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh as the lead pair. Aap Jaisa Koi (Netflix, July 11)

The romantic comedy movie is about a 40-year-old man who lives by tradition and a woman who lives unapologetically. When their path crosses, it brings tender love into their lives. Aap Jaisa Koi stars R Madhavan, Fatima Sana Shaikh as Madhu Bose, Ayesha Raza, Manish Chaudhary and Namit Das in prominent roles.

 

Disclaimer: The article earlier mentioned that Special Ops 2 was set to release on June 11. However, the show has been now postponed a week further. 

In Transit (Prime Video, July 13)

The show is about the lives of transgender and non-binary people, who are navigating their love, identity and the boundaries of gender in Indian way. The series features Rumi Harish, Anubhuti Banerjee, Patruni Chidananda Sastry, Saher Naaz, Siddharth, Aryan, Rie, Madhuri Sarode and Teena.

Narivetta (SonyLIV, July 11)

The Malayalam movie focuses on a global examination of state-sanctioned violence, which explores power structures that affect marginalised communities rather than protecting them. Narivetta stars Tovino Thomas, Priyamvada Krishnan, Arya Salim, Cheran, Rini Udayakumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kumar Sethu, Pranav Teophine and Shahi Kabir in key roles.
