Fear Street: Prom Queen (Netflix, May 23)
The slasher American movie focuses on ‘IT girls’ from Shadyside High, who are fighting to get support to be voted as prom queen. After an unusual nominee appears, some candidates begin to disappear. The movie stars Ariana Greenblatt, India Fowler, Suzanna Son, Ella Rubin, David Iacono and Fina Strazza in prominent roles.
Hunt (ManoramaMAX, May 23)
The Malayalam movie follows the life of a forensic postgraduate doctor, who unravels the skeletal remains of a missing anaesthesia student. After the doctor’s former flame do the investigation, life changes for her, which she has to overcome. The murder mystery brings a new aspect of darker secrets. The movie features Bhavana, Renji Panicker, Chandhunadh, Dain Davis, Anu Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, Aditi Ravi, G. Suresh Kumar, Rahul Madhav, Binu Pappu, Nandu and Vijayakumar in key roles.
Abhilasham (Prime Video, May 23)
The Malayalam movie is about two childhood friends who get separated by time. But when their destinies aligned, they gave a second chance to their friendship. But their past haunts their present.
