Paranthu Po On OTT: The recently released Tamil movie Paranthu Po, directed by renowned filmmaker Ram, is all set to premiere on OTT. After completing its theatrical run in July 2025, the film will begin streaming on online now. The announcement was made by the OTT platform, which holds the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. Paranthu Po marks director Ram’s return to cinema after a long break. Known for his thought-provoking films, Ram has taken a light-hearted route this time, presenting a musical comedy drama. 

OTT platform JioHotstar took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the announcement with the caption, “Taking off to a whole new ride #ParanthuPo streaming from August 5 ” The Tamil movie is set to premiere on JioHotstar on 5th August 2025. Before its theatrical release, the film had a successful run at international film festivals, where it received a positive response. With its refreshing storyline, relatable characters, and emotional depth, Paranthu Po is perfect for viewers looking for a feel-good watch.

Tamil Movie Paranthu Po Plot

The Tamil movie follows the journey of a father and his mischievous son as they decide to take a break from their busy city life. As they travel through quieter places, they meet various interesting characters, reminding themselves and the audience to embrace the present and find joy in everyday moments. It’s a feel-good film that blends humour, music, and life lessons in a heartwarming way.

Tamil Movie Paranthu Po Cast and Crew

The movie features Shiva, Mithun Ryan, and Grace Antony in lead roles. The supporting cast includes well-known names like Anjali, Aju Varghese, and Vijay Yesudas, who appear in key roles. Each character adds charm and depth to the story. Paranthu Po has been produced by Ram along with V Gunasekaran, V Karupuchaamy, and V Shankar under the banners GKS Bros Production, Seven Seas and Seven Hills Productions, and JioHotstar. The music is composed by Santhosh Dhayanithi, marking a shift from Ram’s usual collaboration with Yuvan Shankar Raja. The cinematography is by NK Ekhambram, while Mathi VS has handled the editing.
