Saaree OTT Release: Aaradhya Devi starrer movie released in theatres on April 4. The film became the talk of the town for its title and the casting of Aaradhya Devi. Netizens online criticised the movie’s name and its potential to sexualise the saree. However, some felt that it is a work of art. Saaree movie bombed at the box office, earning only Rs 0.28 crore in India and Rs 0.32 crore worldwide. After three months of release, the movie has been making a buzz about its OTT release.
When And Where To Watch Saaree Movie Online?
Aaradhya Devi starrer movie Saaree is slated to release on the popular South OTT platform Aha Video from July 11 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The platform shared the news on its social media handle and wrote on Instagram, “He saw her in a saree… and lost his mind. What began as a crush turned into an obsession. How far will he go to make her his? Watch Ram gopal varma's #Saree from July 11 only on #aha.”
The movie was already released on Lionsgate Play (India). Now, after the release on Aha, the movie will have a wider reach of audience.
About Saaree Movie
The plot of a psychological thriller movie revolves around a guy who is obsessed with a woman in a saree. He stalks her on Instagram and refuses to accept rejection. After her she turns down, the man kidnaps her, which leads to a harrowing escape. Even after she is free, the trauma resides inside her. Saaree movie features Aaradhya Devi as Aradhya Devi, Satya Yadu as Kittu, Sahil Sambhyal as Raj, Kalpalatha as Lakshmi, Darbha Appaji Ambarisha as Rao. The movie has been directed by Giri Krishna Kamal and produced by Ravi Shankar Varma. The film has been written by Ram Gopal Varma and Siddhan Sabari has done the cinematography.
