The series Special Ops was released on Hotstar on March 17, 2020, and received a positive response from critics. It earned eight nominations at the Filmfare OTT Awards, winning three. The series was expanded into a franchise with the release of "Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story" on November 12, 2021. The show is now gearing up for Special Ops Season 2.
