About Stolen Movie
The trailer shows a baby being taken away from her sleeping mother, Jhumpa, played by Mia Maelzer, at an empty railway station. Brothers Raman and Gautam, played by Shubham Vardhan and Abhishek Banerjee, respectively, have set out to help Jhumpa find the missing baby. But, away from civilisation, the locals believe the brothers to be the abductors, as the trio must flee those wanting their hides for the crime.
On the other hand, Abhishek Banerjee, who plays Gautam, said about the thriller at the premiere, "Stolen is India’s answer to raw, genre-driven filmmaking. The day I heard the story, I knew I wanted to be in the driver’s seat—just like my character, Gautam. Karan Tejpal, our director, is one of the freshest, most exciting minds I’ve come across." Mia Maelzer, who plays the distraught mother, said, "Stolen has been a profound journey for me as an actor. Karan Tejpal’s vision and sensitivity as a director created a space where authenticity could truly flourish, guiding us to bring out the rawness and depth the story demands."
Stolen promises to be a gripping crime thriller that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. With its talented cast and crew, the film is expected to deliver a thrilling narrative that explores the complexities of crime and justice.
