Thammudu OTT Release: The 2025 Telugu drama Thammudu, which was written and directed by Venu Sriram and had Nithiin in the lead role, is about to debut on streaming services. The film centers on a brother and sister who are split up as children and how, years later, they reunite due to a variety of events, igniting a chain of feelings and action. A young guy goes to save his sister, a government official who has been abducted in a jungle, in this tale. The main plot of the movie is how he solves a fatal case and brings back his sister.

Thammudu OTT Release Date Confirmed

Thammudu will make its Netflix debut on August 1 following its July 4 theatrical release. The movie will be available to stream in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.

Nithiin-led movie didn't fully connect with moviegoers in spite of its emotional core and star power. With its OTT debut, there's new hope that it could connect where it didn't before. Thammudu is getting a rare second chance as the OTT release approaches, this time in the cozy setting of living rooms, where slower-paced, more poignant stories tend to find a more understanding and grateful audience.

Thammudu Budget

The makers of Thammudu would suffer significant losses because the Telugu drama was made on a budget of about Rs 40 crore, but some of the money was returned thanks to the OTT rights.

Thammudu Box Office Report

Thammudu's poor box office performance has dampened expectations for Nithiin's upcoming film. However for now, the actor is concentrating on  his upcoming movie, Yellamma. Venu Yeldandi, who directed the critically acclaimed Balagam, is directing this one.

Thammudu barely made Rs 6.85 crore in 12 days after its theatrical premiere, making it yet another box office failure for Nithiin. The film debuted at a dismal Rs 1.9 crore, and its earnings only declined after that, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. Thammudu made Rs 60 lakh on day four after making crores on the first weekend, but by day eight, that amount had dropped to Rs 2 lakh. Globally, the film has made a total of Rs 8.19 crore.
