Tourist Family On OTT: The 2025 Tamil family entertainer, Tourist Family is currently streaming on renowned OTT platform. smash. M Sasikumar and Simran led movie is filled with heartfelt and funny moments despite dealing with a serious topic like immigration, all thanks to Mulli's several one-liners. Even while there is real and underlying suffering, the entire movie has the capacity to make you grin.
Tourist Family OTT Release
Tourist Family, led by M. Sasikumar and Simran was released in theatres on May 1, 2025. Directed by Abishan Jeevinth will now debut on JioHotstar on June 2 after a successful theatre run. The Tamil movie will be available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada versions with English subtitles.

Industry titans like Rajinikanth and Sivakarthikeyan gave Tourist Family excellent marks. The movie was well-received by viewers and ran in theatres for more than five weeks.
About Tourist Family
Tourist Family chronicles the travels of Das, his wife Vasanthi, and their two boys, Nithushan and Mulli, amid the backdrop of political unrest in Sri Lanka. The family flees the turmoil in their native country and travels to India, where they start a new life in Chennai under the pretence of being Malayali with the assistance of Vasanthi's brother Prakash.
However, a blast in Rameshwaram that leads to a thorough inquiry aimed at Sri Lankan Tamil households throughout Tamil Nadu threatens their tranquil façade. Das is forced to make difficult decisions in order to protect his family as suspicion grows.
Tourist Family earned Rs 60.43 crore (nett) and Rs 71.30 crore (gross) at the box office in India. The comedy-drama, made on a meagre budget of Rs 16 crore, turned out to be a very successful venture.
