Upcoming Malayalam Movies In June 2025: With a combination of captivating OTT premieres and exhilarating theatrical releases, June 2025 promises to be a fascinating month for Malayalam movie enthusiasts. From heartwarming tales and engaging narratives to violent police thrillers and courtroom dramas, this month will feature a wide range of genres. 

To keep moviegoers busy, a variety of Malayalam content will be accessible on over-the-top (OTT) platforms like as SonyLiv, Amazon Prime and ManoramaMAX. A variety of genres will be available in the month's theatrical releases, satisfying the interests of viewers of all ages

Alappuzha Gymkhana

The Naslen-starring film Alappuzha Gymkhana is ready for its over-the-top (OTT) launch following an outstanding run at the box office. According to sources, the movie will be available for streaming on SonyLIV on June 5. Renowned for its blend of young vitality and captivating narrative, the film has resonated with both reviewers and viewers.

Pattth

Where to watch: ManoramaMAX

The plot of Pattth centres on Unni, a struggling videographer who works nonstop to support herself. He accepts a task to edit a travel vlog in which native Kenyans perform a rare tribal song. When Unni's grandmother recognises the song right away and starts humming it as though it's part of her heritage, things take an unexpected turn. A video of Unni singing the song goes viral very fast, and people all around the nation say they know it by heart as well.

What comes next is his journey around Kerala with his girlfriend, Anupama, to discover the song's enigmatic relationship to his grandmother and the supposedly universal familiarity it arouses. They made the decision to interview people who claim to know the song from a variety of backgrounds to produce a documentary on its origins.

Vyasanasametham Bandhumithradhikal

Vyasanasametham Bandhumithradhikal, starring Anaswara Rajan, will be released in theatres on June 13, 2025. The Malayalam movie, which was directed and created by S Vipin, features a skilled cast, including Rahim Aboobacker behind the camera and Johnkutty handling editing. Sahu Garapati and Vipin Das co-produce the project, while Ankit Menon composes the music.

Febi George Stonefield directed the fantasy drama, Written & Directed, starring Saiju Kurup and Sunny Wayne in the lead parts. Technically, the film has editing by Abhishek GA, music by Shaan Rahman, and cinematography by Bablu Aju. The movie was originally set to open on May 1st, however, it has since been postponed to open on June 5, 2025.

Ronth

Ronth, a suspenseful police thriller, is Shahi Kabir's second directing endeavour after the critically praised Ela Veezha Poonchira. The movie, which stars Roshan Mathew and Dileesh Pothan as police officers, will be released in theatres on June 13, 2025. State Award-winning cinematographer Manesh Madhavan is in charge of the film's visuals, and Anil Johnson is the composer, with Vinayak Sasikumar writing the lyrics.
