Wednesday Season 2 has just begun, with the first four episodes premiering on August 6, 2025. Jenna Ortega returns to Nevermore Academy, facing new foes, mysteries, and family drama. She navigates her psychic abilities, a new principal and a chilling supernatural mystery, all while dealing with old adversaries and unexpected events. Given the show's dark and quirky nature, it's likely we'll see some major characters meet their demise.

What happens in Wednesday Season 2 Part 1?

Uncle Fester electrocutes Judi to subdue her, inadvertently causing a power outage at Willow Hill that allows the imprisoned outcasts to escape. Among them are the LOIS lab outcasts, who turn on Judi. Meanwhile, Slurp, Pugsley's zombie pet, breaks free and devours human brains to regenerate, claiming Dr. Fairburn and Stonehurst as his victims. Stonehurst, notably, was an "old friend". Marilyn seizes the opportunity to free Tyler, aka Hyde, from his captivity and informs him about Wednesday's presence. However, Tyler's rage towards Marilyn leads him to kill her after she reveals she's been manipulating him.

Is Wednesday Addams dead?

As Tyler, in his Hyde form, hunts down Wednesday, the two engage in a tense confrontation. Wednesday stands her ground despite the danger, but Tyler overpowers her, throwing her out of a second-floor window. The episode ends with Wednesday lying unconscious on the ground, gravely injured and reflecting on her actions. Despite her critical state, it's unlikely Wednesday is dead, given the show's title and the cliffhanger ending.

Lying unconscious on the ground, bleeding out, Wednesday says, "I’ve always dreamed of looking death in the face. But in my final moments, all I hear is my mother’s words ringing in my ears. Maybe I have made everything worse. Much worse."

Wednesday Season 2 will be released in two parts. The first part is now streaming on OTT giant Netflix. However, fans will have to wait for Part 2, which will premiere on the platform on September 3, 2025.
