The most anticipated show Panchayat has made a comeback with its third season on 28th May. The web series is garnering all the praise for its performances, storyline and casting. Jitendra Kumar aka Abhishek Tripathi has hooked the audience with his powerful performance in all the seasons of the series. Recently, the actor shared the challenges in maintaining the same space of the show over the years. He also stated that it was difficult for him to play the character after a long break.
In an interview with filmygyan, Jitendra Kumar said, “Mujhe lagta hai jo same space maintain karte hai woh bahut difficult hota hai aur woh bahut kam dekhne ko milta hai. Baaki series mein mujhe jaise koi cheez achi lag gayi to aisa lagta hai ki haan abhi kuch alag hi karte hai. Acha hota hai woh aur maza aata hai woh dekhne mein, Par mujhe lagta hai ki woh maintain karna bhi achi quality hoti hai. Jo similar vibe aapko aayi hogi season 1 2 dekhke wohi maintain karne ki koshish ki hai. (I feel it is important to maintain that same space, and it is quite difficult. In other series, if people like something, makers try to experiment more, and while that turns out to be good, maintaining a similar vibe is also important. We have tried to maintain that in the current season as well).”
He also shared that getting back into the character was initially difficult after a long break. He also stated that for the same reason he had to give several retakes.
