Partners On OTT: Movie buffs will soon relive the magic of the Malayalam movie Partners featuring Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead, on an OTT platform. The film, created by debutant Naveen John, was released on July 5, 2024 and received a mixed response at the box office. After a brief theatrical run, the makers announced its OTT debut on social media.
Partners OTT Release Date
As announced by the makers, Dhyan Sreenivasan's Partners will premiere on the OTT platform Saina Play on January 31. Along with the release date announcement, the film's team also unveiled an OTT premiere trailer on social media. The post read, "#Partners official trailer out now on Saina Movies YouTube Channel #Partners movie streaming soon on Saina Play OTT." Reports had initially suggested the movie would stream on July 31, but the makers have now officially confirmed the new date.
About Movie Partners
The Malayalam movie is directed by Naveen John, who made his directorial debut with this project. Partners is a thriller based on real-life incidents that occurred at a Kasaragod-Karnataka border village in 1989. The investigative thriller delves into the complexities of financial fraud in a rural bank setting. Dhyan Sreenivasan stars in the film, which is jointly written by Hariprasad, Prasanth KV, and Naveen John. It is produced by Dinesh Kollappally under the banner of Kollappally Films. Pichaikkaran actress Satna Titus stars opposite Dhyan Sreenivasan as the female lead. Besides them, the movie also features Madhusudhan Rao, Sanju Sivaram, Devaki Rajendran and Dinesh Kollappally. In addition, supporting roles played by Neeraja S. Das, Alexander Prasanth, Srikant Murali, Harish Peradi and Dinesh Kollappally.
The film’s cinematography was handled by Faisal Ali, editing by Sunil S. Pillai, and music by Prakash Alex. While the movie did not perform well at the theatres, the makers are hopeful for a positive response on OTT.
