Phule Box Office Collection Day 4: Pratik Gandhi and Patralekhaa starrer biographical movie released in theatres on April 25, this year. The film garnered mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. Phule is based on the lives of social reformers, Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule. Anant Mahadevan’s directorial has been maintaining a slow pace at the ticket windows, earning in lakhs each day. As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 0.24 crore on Day 4. The net collection of Phule stands at Rs 1.29 crore. The worldwide collection of Phule is now Rs 1.49 crore.

About Phule 

The story focuses on the life of Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule, who made several changes in society, including working against casteism, child marriages. To enlighten society, Jyotirao Phule educated his wife, Savitribai. The movie features Pratik Gandhi, Patralekhaa, Darsheel Safary, Vinay Pathak and Alexx O'Nell in significant roles. Helmed by Anant Mahadevan, the movie has been backed by Pranay Chokshi, Ritesh Kudecha, Anuya Chauhan Kudecha, Sunil Jain, Raj Kishore Khaware, Jagdish Patel. 

Phule Movie Controversy 

Social reformers Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule worked hard to end caste oppression in society, which has been depicted in the film. But the portrayal in the film has invited several criticisms after the trailer’s release, calling it anti-Brahmin by several social media users. However, after the film’s release, Phule didn’t face any such kind of criticism.
