Pooja Bhatt and her father Mahesh Bhatt created quite a stir when they shared a lip-lock for the cover of a magazine in the 80s. Pooja is Mahesh Bhatt's daughter from his first marriage to Kiran Bhatt.

2. 'If Pooja had not been my daughter, I would have married her'

Mahesh Bhatt held a press conference due to the controversy created by his infamous photoshoot with Pooja. But the controversies escalated even more after he said, "If Pooja had not been my daughter, I would have married her."

3. When Pooja Bhatt opened up about her alcohol addiction

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Pooja opened up about her alcohol addiction. She said, "I was born to a man who has never done anything in half-measure and I inherited that. So when I drank, I drank copiously. Your appetite increases even as the alcohol does terrible things to your body, clutters your mind and colours your judgement of the people you're hanging out with."

4. Controversy between Karisma Kapoor and Pooja Bhatt

In an interview with Stardust Magazine, Karisma Kapoor, at the age of 16, talked about the rumours about her mother Babita controlling her life and influencing her work choices. While adressing Pooja's accusations, Karisma said, “What’s her bl**dy problem? I wish she would keep quiet. I think basically something’s wrong with her; I wish I could help her. I think it’s she who wants to get out of someone’s clutches, and she’s using my name to get her views across.”

5. Spat with Ranvir Shorey

For the unversed, Pooja Bhatt dated Ranvir Shorey before tying the knot with Manish Makhija in 2003. In an interview, Ranvir claimed that Pooja would get violent without drinking.
