It was rumoured that Dulquer Salmaan would also be a part of 'Kalki 2898 AD'. During his interaction with Telugu media while promoting 'King Of Kotha', Dulquer was asked if he would be seen in 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Without revealing many details about the film, he said that he was blown away after seeing the sets of the film.
āI canāt reveal anything about Project K. Iāll just tell you, I went to the sets and was blown away (by its grandiose nature). Only Nagi (Nag Ashwin) can think like that. Heās a director who never fails to surprise. Be it 'Yevade Subramanyam' or 'Mahanati' and then he goes on to do 'Project K', which is set in the future. The sets were so amazing. But I donāt know if I am in the film or not,ā he said.
'Kalki 2898 AD' will be released in theatres on January 12, 2024. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani and Amitabh Bachchan.
On the work front, Prabhas will be seen in 'Salaar' which was scheduled to release on September 28. The movie has reportedly been postponed but the makers have not officially announced the news yet.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, the makers are planning to postpone the release date of 'Salaar' due to the pending post-production work. 'Salaar' will reportedly be released in December 2023 or January 2024.
"Salaar holds a prominent position among the big films emerging from India, and the creators are determined to meet the high expectations of fans and moviegoers. Unfortunately, the film is not yet ready and requires additional time for post-production," a source was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.
Prabhas was last seen in 'Adipurush' along with Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh.
