Prajakta Koli tied the knot with her longtime beau Vrishank Khanal in an intimate ceremony on February 25. The couple exchanged vows against the backdrop of the sunset, photos and videos are surfacing online, leaving fans in awe. The Mismatched 3 actress recently opened up about her 11-year-long relationship with now-husband Vrishank. She shared how it all started and journey to their wedding.
Prajakta Koli and Vrishank Khanal's Love Story
Prajakta shared how she met Vrishank, a corporate lawyer with roots in Nepal, in an interview with Vogue Weddings. She said, “We met at a common friend’s house when I was 18 and Vrishank was 22. On a whim, we ended up exchanging BlackBerry Messenger pins, which was the rage back then. Since we were young and unhinged, we ended up talking all day and all night and soon realized there was a lot more than ‘just talking.’”
After dating for years, the couple got engaged in 2023. Vrishank shed light on their proposal, revealing that it didn’t go as planned. “I had been planning the proposal for a long time. We were on a camping trip to West Virginia with my sister and cousins based in the US. There’s a very scenic waterfall trail, and I wanted to pop the question there. I tried to make it as discreet as possible," he said. Prajakta added, “But I had an intuition about it, so I had already got my nails done. It was chilled and cozy, and I actually wouldn’t have it any other way.”

After 11 years of romance, Prajakta Koli and Vrishank Khanal turned their love into forever on February 25, 2025. The couple tied the knot in the presence of close friends and family. For the wedding, the content creator kept things simple, dressing as the bride in a custom-made sage lehenga by designer Anita Dongre. She chose not to wear a red lehenga, instead opting for a white lehenga with Parijat patterns on it. Prajakta, whose name is another name for Parijat flowers, revealed in an interview, “The first lehenga that I tried on became my wedding lehenga.”
