Pratik Gandhi has established himself as a rising star after impressing the audience with his performances in projects like 'Scam 1992' and 'Madgaon Express'. He will next star in 'Do Aur Do Pyaar', which is a romantic comedy and this is something Pratik has not explored before in his career. The actor will share the screen with Vidya Balan, who is well known for getting into the skin of any character. In an exclusive interview with Jagran English, Pratik talked about his experience of working in 'Do Aur Do Pyaar', what he wants to learn from Vidya Balan and more.

While speaking about his experience of doing a romantic comedy like 'Do Aur Do Pyaar', Pratik said, "Vidya (Balan) is an accomplished actor, in fact, she, Ileana (D'Cruz), and Sendhil (Ramamurthy), all three of them are very, very accomplished and experienced actors. It is my luck that I got an opportunity to work with them. 'Do Aur Do Pyaar' is a rom-com and this is also something that I have not done. People haven't seen me doing this before, so I am excited about that."

He further revealed what he want to learn from his co-star Vidya Balan and said, "A lot of things. I actually want to learn is her laughter. She has a contagious laughter."

Pratik, who got immense fame and success after starring in 'Scam 1992' as Harshad Mehta, said that he does not feel stereotyped when people associate him with only OTT projects. He told Jagran English, "I wouldn't call it a stereotype. It is that that particular character and series has made such a great impact on their minds that it is still fresh in their memory, and they still call me by that character. This even makes my job a little more challenging and fun that now I have to give them another such character and get another name for myself."

Talking about if he feels pressure of replicating the success of 'Scam 1992', he added, "I don't feel that pressure, rather, I convert that into excitement, and that's the reason that I have done 'Madgaon Express'. The kind of response that we have received for the film and I have received for this character, has reinstated my faith in experiment."

On the work front, Pratik Gandhi was last seen in 'Madgaon Express'. He will be seen as Mahatma Gandhi in Hansal Mehta's web series. He will also star in the movie 'Agni'.
