'Project K,' directed by Nag Ashwin, is generating immense excitement as one of the most highly anticipated and significant ventures in Indian cinema. The movie boasts an impressive ensemble cast comprising Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone. The highly awaited revelation of the film's title, trailer, and release date will take place at the prestigious San Diego Comic-Con 2023 on July 20th. This marks a momentous occasion as 'Project K' becomes the first-ever Indian film to receive such recognition. Following the official announcement, Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to express his thoughts, sharing a heartfelt note.
Big B took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "T 4698 - I am honoured and have had the great privilege of being a part of this great enterprise in Telugu Cinema , ‘Project K’ and to have had the huge honour of being in the same frame of the Idol , Prabhas .. In a press conference, Director Nag Ashwin talked about the feat. He said, "India is the home of some of the greatest lore and superheroes ever written. We feel that our film is an attempt to bring out and share this with the world. And Comic-Con gives us the perfect stage to introduce our story to a global audience."
Speaking of Project K, the science fiction action film is written and directed by Nag Ashwin. It is produced by C. Aswani Dutt, under Vyjayanthi Movies. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, it is set to release in cinemas on January 12, 2024. The film is reportedly made with a whopping Rs 500–600 crore budget.
