Allu Arjun's latest movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has completely smashed the box office. The action drama, directed by Sukumar, is available in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, Rao Ramesh, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj in significant parts. Producers, director Sukumar B, and actor Allu Arjun held a press conference in Hyderabad following the Telugu movie's success. The team expressed gratitude to the viewers for their support and affection on Saturday night. 

The press conference was aired live on YouTube. Taking the stage, director Sukumar and producers thanked the audience for helping to make Pushpa a 'wildfire' hit. However, there was a roar of enthusiasm from the audience when Pushparaj took over the stage.

Allu Arjun, who got emotional, said, "Thank you India. I would like to thank everybody, from all over the country, and Indians from all over the world, for the phenomenal success (of the film). Thank you, thank you, thank you (sic)."

Allu Arjun spoke in English during the Telugu-language conference, and credited director Sukumar for the film's success. "I would like to say one thing, the entire success, the entire credit belongs to one man, the person who's sitting right there (Sukumar). It's purely his love for me that I have been getting such compliments for my performance, " he continued.

Pushpa 2: The Rule Success Meet:

Talking about the phenomenal performance of the pan-India movie, Allu Arjun's final words were, "Thank you to the entire country, for showing so much love. The number that we did there is just the reflection of the amount of people who came out to show their love."

Pushpa 2: The Rule Box Office Collection

Pushpa 2: The Rule did a fantastic job on the third at the box office. The Sukumar-directed film made more money at the box office on Saturday than it did on Friday. Allu Arjun's movie made an estimated Rs 268.7 crore India net within its first two days of release. On its third day, the movie brought in about Rs 115 crore in India net for all languages. On Saturday, December 07, 2024, the Telugu occupancy rate for Pushpa: The Rule - Part 2 was 63.97% overall.

About Pushpa 2: The Rule

Pushpa 2: The Rule is the follow-up to the popular 2021 movie Pushpa: The Rise. The film, which was directed by Sukumar, follows Allu Arjun's character Pushparaj on his harrowing trip as he encounters further difficulties in the perilous world of red sandalwood smuggling. The intense rivalry between Pushpa and SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by Fahadh Faasil, is further explored throughout the narrative.
