Pushpa 2 Box Office Report:  Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Telugu movie Pushpa 2, which is the sequel to the 2021 movie of the same name, was released in theatres on December 5, 2024. The film garnered wide recognition across the nation as it was released in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada. The action thriller had a box office opening of Rs 164.25 crore and collected Rs 725.8 crore in its first week. The following weeks continued to run successfully in theatres despite several big releases like Baby John, Game Changer, Emergency and more. But Pushpa 2 maintained its strong momentum over 54 days of its release. Not, only that it also became the fastest Indian movie to enter the Rs 1000 crore club globally, as per reports. Pushpa 2 Box Office Report

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 0.14 crore on Day 54. The total net collection of Pushpa 2 stands at Rs 1232.44 crore after 54 days of release. The worldwide collection of the movie is Rs 739.7 crore. The overseas collection of Pushpa 2 is at Rs 270.75 crore. Interestingly, the movie collected more in the Hindi dubbed version than the original version which is Telugu. Well, it is a rare sight to see a movie work more in the Hindi belt than in the Southern region.

Pushpa 2 Budget

As per reports, the movie was made on a budget of Rs 400 to 500 crore. The exact figure has not been disclosed yet. 

About Pushpa 2

The story focuses on the rise of Pushpa in the sequel of the cult franchise. It also showcases how he fights with his rivals including SP Bhanwar Singh. The film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Sritej, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Divi Vadthya in key roles. The film has been directed by Sukumar. 

Pushpa 2 OTT Release Update

Netflix has announced that Pushpa 2 will be soon streaming on the platform in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil. The release date and update about the OTT release has not been shared yet. It wrote, “The man. The myth. The brAAnd 🔥 Pushpa’s rule is about to begin! 👊 Watch Pushpa 2- Reloaded Version with 23 minutes of extra footage on Netflix, coming soon in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam & Kannada!”
