Pushpa 2 OTT Update: Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Telugu movie Pushpa 2: The Rule hit the theatres on December 5, 2024. Directed by Sukumar, the movie also stars Sukumar in a pivotal role. Amid the movie's theatrical release, fans are eagerly inquiring about the film's OTT streaming schedule. Given the massive success of its predecessor, Pushpa: The Rise, which dominated both box office and OTT platforms in 2021, expectations are high for the sequel. 

Although the filmmakers have not officially confirmed the OTT release details, the movie is expected to follow the same procedure and release on OTT after three months of its theatrical run.

Pushpa 2 OTT Rights

According to reports, Netflix has successfully secured the OTT streaming rights for the highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule. As reported by Aakashavaani, the streaming giant has acquired the post-theatrical rights for a staggering ₹270 crores, thereby making Pushpa 2 one of the most valuable Indian films in terms of digital rights, setting a new benchmark in the industry.

Pushpa 2 3D Release Postponed

Pushpa 2: The Rule has encountered an unexpected last-minute hurdle. Initially, fans were eagerly awaiting the film's release in multiple formats, including 2D, IMAX 2D, and 3D, all slated to hit theatres on December 5. However, in a shocking turn of events, reports have now confirmed that the 3D version of the film has been delayed and will instead arrive in theatres a week later, on December 13. This unexpected delay may come as a disappointment to fans who were looking forward to experiencing the film in 3D on its initial release date.

Pushpa 2: The Rule has been directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, featuring Allu Arjun in the titular role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj.
