Pushpa 2 OTT Release (Hindi): Pushpa 2 is all set for its OTT release. Starring Allu Arjun in lead role, the recent blockbuster movie will make its digital debut in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages this week itself. However, Netflix did not mention the OTT release date of the movie’s Hindi version, which has left a section of fans disappointed.
Pushpa 2 OTT Release Delayed In Hindi?
Netflix wrote on X, “The man. The myth. The brand Pushpa’s rule is about to begin! Watch Pushpa 2- Reloaded Version with 23 minutes of extra footage on Netflix, coming soon in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam & Kannada!”
As the OTT giant Netflix failed to mention the Hindi release details of Pushpa 2: The Rule, fans took to the comments section, asking queries about the same. While some presumed if some other platform has bagged the Hindi OTT rights, while others guessed if the Hindi version will stream later. A netizen commented, “Will you upload Hindi later or does anyone else have the rights?” another one wrote, “Discrimination is happening with Hindi people,” a fan commented, “They do the same every time for the Hindi audience with us.”
The highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language action drama directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film stars Allu Arjun as the titular character, alongside a talented ensemble cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil and Jagapathi Babu. As the second installment in the Pushpa film series and the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021), the movie follows the journey of Pushpa Raj, a sandalwood smuggler, as he faces formidable opposition from his enemies, including the determined SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS.
The sequel, initially announced in December 2021 as Pushpa 2, later revealed its subtitle The Rule in August 2022. Despite initial filming alongside the original, director Sukumar altered the story, leading to principal photography commencing in October 2022. With a massive budget of ₹400-500 crore and a runtime of 200-220 minutes, Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of India's most expensive and longest films.
