Pushpa 2 OTT Release Update: Allu Arjun starrer Telugu movie has been performing well at the box office. The film recently surpassed the Rs 650 crore mark at the box office in India whereas it crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide. As the movie has been running in cinema halls, there is an update on the OTT release of Pushpa 2. Check out the latest update on the streaming details of the mega movie.
Pushpa 2 OTT Release Rights
Netflix has acquired the digital rights of Allu Arjun’s movie Pushpa 2. The OTT platform informed earlier this year and also shared more details about the language availability. Post-theatrical release, the action thriller will be released on the OTT giant in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. They shared a hashtag along with the post which read ‘#NetflixPandaga’. As per Sacnilk, Netflix bought the streaming rights of Pushpa 2 for over Rs 275 crore. The report further suggested that both parts will be available on the OTT platform.
Netflix wrote, “Pushpa is about to come out of hiding and he's coming to RULE! 🌹🔥 #Pushpa2: The rule is coming soon on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi as a post theatrical release!”
As per reports, the movie will be released on the OTT platform in six to eight weeks of window after theatrical release.
About Pushpa 2
The movie revolves around Pushpa and his rivalry with several competitors including his new enemy SP Bhanwar Singh. The action thriller film stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sritej, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Divi Vadthya and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. The movie has been directed by Sukumar and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar. As per reports, Pushpa 2 has been made on a whopping budget of around Rs 400 to 500 crore. However, the makers haven’t revealed the exact figures.
