Actor Allu Arjun made a significant appearance at the Metropolitan Criminal Court at Nampally in Hyderabad today, submitting sureties as required by the court after being granted regular bail on Friday. This development is connected to the ongoing investigation into the tragic Sandhya Theatre incident, which occurred during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4, 2024, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to her child.

Allu Arjun was surrounded by a swarm of police personnel and media as he arrived at the court. The actor was escorted into the court by the police, highlighting the intense scrutiny and attention surrounding his case. This dramatic scene unfolded as Allu Arjun visited the court to submit sureties after being granted regular bail in connection with the Sandhya Theatre incident, which resulted in the death of a woman during the premiere of The Rule.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, Ashok Reddy, the actor's lawyer told reporters, “The conditions have been imposed that he (Allu Arjun) has to attend the police station. Bail has been granted...The court was convinced that this was not a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Therefore, the court granted bail."

According to Allu Arjun's lawyer, the court has instructed the actor to execute a bond of ₹50,000 with two sureties, a standard legal procedure that he must complete as part of his bail conditions.

Reddy revealed that a quash petition is still pending before the Telangana High Court, with the next hearing slated for January 21, 2025. He expressed his determination to pursue the quash petition, stating, "We will take steps to pursue that quash petition in the High Court."
