Pushpa 2 is already breaking records much before its release in theatres. Advance bookings for the action thriller movie have already begun and created history, especially in the Hindi-speaking belt. The tickets for the Hindi version have been priced at Rs 200 crore in Delhi, and Mumbai theatres. Yet, the shows are almost booked. The prequel of Pushpa has been successful in the Hindi belt which created a bigger hype this time as well. In Delhi's PVR Director's Cut leads, the Hindi version tickets have been priced at Rs 2400. On the other hand, in Mumbai’s Maison PVR: Jio World Drive, the tickets have been sold at Rs 2100. Notably, these are the ticket prices of premium theatres.
Recliner seats for an IMAX show in Delhi’s PVR Select City Walk on the opening night cost Rs 1860. In several theatres in Mumbai, similar seats cost between Rs 1500 and Rs 1700. As per Sacnilk, the Telugu movie is set to become the first Indian movie to surpass Rs 300 crore worldwide on the opening day itself. The total Indian gross is set to be Rs 233 crore on opening day.
About Pushpa 2: The Rule
The story will continue with the rivalry between Pushpa and Bhanwar Singh in the conclusion part of the movie. The action thriller film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Sritej, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Priyamani, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Divi Vadthya and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. It has been made on a budget of around Rs 400 to 500 crore. The film has been helmed by Sukumar and backed by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar.
Pushpa 2 OTT Release
After its successful theatrical run, the film will be released on Netflix. The makers have announced the news on Instagram, “Pushpa is about to come out of hiding and he's coming to RULE! 🌹🔥 #Pushpa2: The rule is coming soon on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi as a post theatrical release!”
