Pushpa 2 Twitter Review: The much-anticipated sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, hit theatres today, December 5, 2024 and the Twitter reactions have already ignited a wildfire of excitement. Fans and critics are praising Allu Arjun's return as Pushpa Raj, with many calling his performance even more powerful than the first instalment. Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, reprising their roles as Srivalli and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, have also received accolades for their standout performances.

The film opened with packed houses, particularly in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with fans eager to experience the sequel's larger-than-life narrative. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#OneWordReview… #Pushpa2: MEGA-BLOCKBUSTER. Rating: 4½ Wildfire entertainer... Solid film in all respects... Reserve all the awards for #AlluArjun, he is beyond fantastic... #Sukumar is a magician... The #Boxoffice Typhoon has arrived.” He further highlighted the film’s strong narrative, impactful dialogues, and high-octane action sequences.

Another X user noted, “The intro scene of Pushpa in a Japanese port sets the tone for the film and the interval face-off with Shekawat is phenomenal. The songs are sensational on the big screen.”

Praise also poured in for the technical aspects of the film. “#Pushpa2 runs purely on drama but is well-packaged in a commercial way,” wrote one viewer. Others lauded Devi Sri Prasad’s background score, describing it as an essential component that elevates key moments in the narrative.

HAVE A LOOK:

Allu Arjun’s performance as Pushpa Raj remains the centrepiece of the film. His commanding screen presence, impeccable dialogue delivery, and intense character portrayal were widely celebrated. Fans described his character's transformation and entry scenes as "electrifying" and "a seeti-maar moment." Fahadh Faasil’s role as a ruthless police officer also garnered special praise, with many calling his performance a show-stealer.

Rashmika Mandanna, while featured less prominently compared to the male leads, made a strong impression in critical scenes. While the majority of reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, some viewers found the runtime of 3 hours and 20 minutes a bit excessive. A few noted that the dialogues were occasionally hard to follow, and the pacing felt uneven at times. “Could certain scenes have been trimmed for a tighter narrative? Absolutely not,” argued Taran Adarsh, defending the film’s length as essential to its storytelling.

However, not all feedback was glowing. A few early viewers expressed disappointment, citing high expectations as a factor. "The first 20 minutes felt underwhelming," remarked an X user, though such comments were in the minority.

With ticket prices in some regions reaching as high as Rs 944, Pushpa 2: The Rule is expected to set new benchmarks for box office collections. Early screenings were sold out and industry analysts predict a record-breaking opening weekend, potentially surpassing other Telugu blockbusters like Baahubali and RRR.
